The Verband der Holz und Kunststoffe verarbeitenden Industrie Sachsen e.V. sees itself as a regional lobbyist, partner and service provider for the industry in Saxony. The purpose of the association is to protect and promote the common economic, social and collective interests of its members. The association represents the concerns and needs of its members vis-à-vis the public, politics, business organisations, the press and trade unions on a national and international level. The VHKS regularly informs its members about its measures and results for exerting influence on the design of supportive economic policy framework conditions.
